Welcoming park

The Parco Nazionale dell’Appennino Lucano offers numerous opportunities to enjoy a fulfilling experience dedicated to wellbeing and good food. Hospitality and a warm welcome are values that have always been handed down, a distinctive feature of Lucanian culture: farmhouses surrounded by nature, family-run hotels, holiday homes, hotels and bed & breakfasts, campsites and glamping sites welcome visitors with warmth and professionalism.

After a day spent on trails, in woods and enjoying breathtaking views, it is wonderful to be won over by the authentic flavours of Lucanian cuisine. The restaurants and trattorias in the Park offer typical, tasty dishes made with the rich variety of local agricultural products, accompanied by the excellent wine of the Agri lands, and much more.

For those who want a relaxing break or a quick stop, there are equipped picnic areas and refreshment points located in the villages of the Park, in the visitor centres and along the hiking trails.

Staying in the Lucanian Apennines Park means immersing yourself in the local culture, that of 'good encounters', made up of traditions, flavours and moments of life that warm the heart.
