In the Protected Area

The Lucanian Apennines National Park, Val d'Agri-Lagonegrese is a protected area covering 690 km2 characterised by great biodiversity, which preserves intact Apennine ecosystems with animal and plant species of immense naturalistic value. At the same time, the territory has 29 towns, rich in history, culture and local traditions, animated by an open and hospitable community.
